Youth Song Celebration

Par pasākumu

The Youth Song Celebration is one of Estonia's most heartfelt cultural events, bringing together thousands of young singers from across the country at the Tallinn Song Festival Grounds. The tradition of song and dance festivals is part of the UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage List, and the Youth Song Celebration gives this living tradition a voice in a new generation. While the general Song Celebration features performances from children, youth, and adults side by side, the Youth Song Celebration is dedicated specifically to young singers. Under the song arch, children's, boys', girls', youth, and other choirs meet to fill the festival grounds with thousands of voices and the shared joy of singing. Powerful joint choirs, the sincere energy of youth, and beloved Estonian choral music create an atmosphere that is hard to experience anywhere else. The Youth Song Celebration is much more than a concert. It connects generations, keeps the Estonian singing tradition alive, and creates shared memories for youth that last a lifetime. Good to know! The general Song Celebration and the Youth Song Celebration usually take place separately, but in 2028, they will be celebrated together.
