Tallinn Chamber Choir Concert Lembit

Par pasākumu

The Tallinn Chamber Choir invites you to a concert at the Glass Hall of the Tallinn Song Festival Grounds. “Lembit” is a musical journey through the seasons, where nature, longing, and beauty intertwine in the works of two composers. This year, we celebrate the 100th anniversary of the birth of Lembit Veevo, one of the choir’s founders. His sensitive songs, enriched by the colours of jazz harmony, have accompanied the choir for decades. The concert will also feature music by Lembit Avesson, who was born in Estonia and worked in Toronto. His impressionistic harmonies reveal the beauty of Estonian poetry and nature from a slightly different perspective. Last year marked the 100th anniversary of Avesson’s birth, and we wish to share his rarely performed yet remarkable works with our audience. The Tallinn Chamber Choir will be conducted by Heli Jürgenson. Join us on a musical journey through the works of two composers named Lembit!
