First Advent Celebration and Noblessner Christmas Tree Lighting
Par pasākumu
At Noblessner Square, in Tallinn’s seaside district, the first Advent is celebrated with a festive event. At the heart of the occasion is the lighting of the Noblessner Christmas tree, bringing the sparkle of the winter holiday season to the city. Each year’s Christmas tree is designed by Shishi’s designers, creating a unique decoration inspired by the glow of big city lights. The tree is adorned with elegant ornaments and an impressive 20,000 small LED lights, illuminating Noblessner Square and creating a magical atmosphere throughout the surrounding Tallinn harbour area. After the Christmas lights are switched on, the JUHANID Boys’ Choir of the Estonian National Opera will perform, with Daniel Levi as the soloist. At 4:30 PM, a parade of kayaks and SUP boards will arrive at Noblessner Harbour. For the third year in a row, kayakers and paddleboarders decorated with Christmas lights will make their way through Noblessner and Seaplane Harbour, creating a magical and visually enchanting spectacle for spectators. The celebration of the first Advent in Noblessner is an important part of Tallinn’s Christmas season, bringing light, beauty, and festivity to the heart of the city — delighting both local residents and visitors from across Estonia and abroad.
